I wish I was the guy that won the door-prize that was donated. Nothing quite beats running down from the 4th floor when you hear your number called only to find out you won a pair of Snell speakers. Wow!

It might be hard to do that, because:

Sunday afternoon there were a bunch of unclaimed items,
that were re-drawn
and re-drawn
and re-drawn
(I started to feel sorry for Ernie, BUT his voice held out and he DID look like he was having fun!!)
and re-drawn
until SOMEONE finally had a matching number... :D

A few times we would hear a yell from the 3rd,4th or 5th floor, and see somebody hurrying over to an elevator...


Some GREAT stuff went at 3 pm Sunday afternoon!!

I too really wanted to chat, especially after the concert, but the place cleared out pretty quickly afterwards, I was one of the last ones out, jabbering with the guys about their equipment.

You DID hang around to the end to experience that incredible finish?

Were you in on Sunday?

That's the problem with randomly wandering particles, few intersections.... (but IF you sat still in one spot, a LOT of people drifted through....)

but WHAT intersections.... in Army & EchoWars's room with Kamakiri and that sx-1250 on Saturday, retro's room on Sunday - Somewhere in there (retro's?) running into Rich Pustelniak, Wandering around at 1 am Sunday, looking for the parties, hearing but never locating the source of the music..... I ended up in HomerJSimpsons room accessing the internet and checking in here on AK... I gotta confess, I spent the most time in rooms with vintage Pioneer, followed by members rooms... yeah, Homer had Pioneer in the house, I brought his thoroughly repaired former basket case sx-3900 back to him

must......resist.......swap.....room.........must......resist.......must......resist....

There was a sweet 737 and a Pioneer quad that ALMOST got me.... but it worked out in the end, when I had the funds to get BOTH of Laith's CD's.. my version of supporting the arts...

You sir are a lucky man. I spent a good bit of time listening to the amp in Jolida's room. It was very nice.

I am expecting a full review (although if you don't want it let me know. :D)
 
Hey, I wasn't at the Fest, so thought I'd ask: Did I win anything? :D Just being silly, as usual, but congrats to you winners. :thmbsp:
