Identify My Telefunken Console

My dad brought this back from Germany in 1963. I have never seen one like it. It used to have a reel to reel a push button receiver and two cool small satellite speakers.
I’m in the process of restoring it. I’m sure finding original components will be difficult.

Any help is much appreciated!

I believe my dad brought the receiver in for servicing and before he got it back he passed away. The satellite speakers and reel to reel I have a feeling my brother took and ruined. We don’t speak. Haha!

I have a feeling the original receiver will be impossible to identify and locate. I’m not to worried about the reel to reel.

Just out of curiosity, how did you ID it as a Telefunken with no tags or labels? I don't see a logo (or is that one on the right hand door?).

At any rate, at the risk of restating what you already know, generally these consoles (a/k/a hifis) were modular, with the different modules shared amongst many different models of console. It might be enough to measure the length of where the faceplate would have been and then just start looking for Telefunken receivers that match that size. It's also possible that the same console was offered with more than one set of electronics.

Something like this is probably what was in there (although as a German domestic model, I wonder if the controls would have been labelled in German rather than English).

Looking close at the cutouts on the receiver area on mine it’s very similar for the buttons.
Identical actually.

I grew up with this in my house. As a teen in the early 70’s Listened to Led Zeppelin for the first time on it. It’s a Telefunken.
I still have the manuals for the turntable too.
