Hifi-Lautsprechereinheit L550
I just reverse image searched them.
Edit: Yours do look like a different model though.

Thanks a lot!

Braun L550 from somewhere 1970 to 1972.

Sounds excellent for their age and size.

I thought i'd update the thread with a little review for anyone who comes looking for information in the future. I played some music (Some of my favorite tracks) through these speakers and they sounded quiet good. I am not an expert but this is my opinion.

* This is based on my current set up, I am not sure if the speakers cross caps etc are in perfect shape. My review is based on its current state. it could be much different when it comes to another pair.

Bass - : Very good in my opinion, Ample bass with all tone controllers set to flat and loudness switched off on the amplifier. Even at low volumes bass is there and for wallmmount / bookshelf type speaker, I am very satisfied with its bass.

Mids - : I feel like this is where it falls short. Mids are very recessed, voices get drowned in the other frquencies. Especially in the bass. Not good for my kind of Female vocal based tracks.

Highs - Clear and very much audible but however it sounds very different than my other speakers. For an example, a big applause in a live performance sounds like a harsh rain or water thrown at a hot oil pan. Kind of tinnie if you ask me. Trebles arn't bad but kind of different and hard to like this kind of sound. (IMO)

Overall!
Beautiful build made with wood, Overall sounds nice for background music and bit of jazz, but not recommended for any kind of ciritical audiophile grade listening.

Let me know your opinion as well if you have heard these speakers before.

Good idea to throw in a detailed review. Should they need a recap to get that dirty dip in midrange you've felt ?
I think so.
They have that ADS feel... that's good on my part.
I've never heard a pair of of Braun.... I've owned ADS before tough.

Enjoy them, enjoy music, enjoy life !

They do have the ADS/Braun vibe by their appearance. Thanks for the review.
Recapping couldn't hurt.
