If Anyone Was a Fan of Gino Vanelli, Andy Williams or

Amy Grant, I could probably get you their entire collections on LP for a couple of lincolns. I stopped in my local thrift store yesterday to peruse the vinyl section, and I've never in my life seen so many Gino Vanelli, Andy Williams, and Amy Grant LPs. Dozens of them. Cheap.

I honestly can't recall a single Gino Vanelli song. I'm sure I've heard some, but none come to mind.

The Andy Williams LPs are probably pretty good. I know my dad always liked him. I should have picked up a couple "just because".

I did find quite a few Linda Ronstadt LPs for me. I'll post about them up in the Music Score thread.

Gino was on the charts and got air play back in the mid 70's with Powerful People and Gist of the Gemini. He faded pretty quick after that even while still putting out albums.

Amy was a crossover from the Christian music scene to Pop. Her music is very bubblegum to me. She also left her husband and hooked up with Vince Gill.

Andy is a standard. Most baby boomers will remember growing up with his yearly Christmas special.

Gino's one hit that I can remember was "I Just Want To Stop" from about '79. I think he was/is from Canada. Nice song to slow dance to. -Sandy G.

At one time Gino was married to Milli Vannelli.

Thought you would like to know that!
