If I wanted to Steal a Pair of Snell E5s

If I wanted to steal a pair of Snell e5s what would I offer? $100?

Would I even be happy with them?

Are the more for HT than music?

I don't really mean "steal" them but I know a guy that has been trying to sell a pair since Christmas and want's to unload them on me.

I really don't have the space and I don't think they will unseat my DQ-20s but for a C note they would be fun to try. No?

I know they were on the tail end of the Snell history and I don't want their version of what everyone else was making in the 90s unless it's rather special.
