Yeller, my bestest buddy of 17 years has had another set back in her health this week. She started feeling bad earlier in the week. Was mopey, running a temp and throwing up. Then had trouble going to the bathroom. So, off to the vet she went. They gave her an enema and did some exploring and found a fist sized tumour on her small intestine. The doc kept her overnight for observation, then sent her home with meds to hopefully shrink said tumour.
She's managed to survive two surgeries for cancer and a leaky heart valve and I'm hoping she'll pull through this one too.
So, if you will, send your positive *get better soon* thoughts her way. We both appreciate it! :)

Thanks, folks! She's had a rough day. I made her a light meal of chicken with carrots cooked in chicken broth. She managed to get some down, but her appetite isn't back yet. She's sleeping soundly now. Gonna take her for a little walk in the morning before it heats up.
