Striving for Polymathdom!
Some of you know that I have been going to school since the Summer of 04 in the evenings along with working full time. Its taken me 4 years to get through my first two years and then some to meet the requirements for transfer.

I got the letter I have been waiting for today in the mail.

I have made it into the Electrical Engineering College at the Georgia Institute of Technology:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

I stop working full time at the end of April to start school in May.

GREAT!!!! keep it up..... And NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER... Did I say NEVER get behind on the old home work assignments......

Outstanding engineering school! Most of my buddies from college are EE's (okay, have degrees in EE - only one is in a field remotely close to EE). I was the lone ME in the bunch (no, I'm not an ME, but I am an engineer). I was in with the "cool" crowd...:nerd:

I make sure to do all my homework and study my arse off. The first time around in school (lasted a year) I came out with a 1.6gpa.

I have worked my tail off and still have quite a bit to go through but luckily I wont have to worry about work at the same time.

Im actually excited about more school, scary huh.

Way to go. I just got my degree last year at the age of 48, it took quite some time to achieve, and was more than worth it. Best of luck.

congratulations Mike! Just keep the volume down until you get to be an old fart, THEN turn it up! Have a good one:)

Congratulations on your hard work and success, Mike. :thmbsp:

GT is a great school. Maybe you'll run into Jeremy down there. After this semester he'll still have two years to go. Hey, maybe you two will graduate together!

Good luck.

Terry
