I'm stoked!

Jailtime

Standin' on a corner
I've been learning how to solder and assemble cables all this week in my avionics tech school. With this and all the other electronics info I've learned, I'm going to be starting on my stack of restoration projects in the next few months. Stay tuned for some restoration threads in the not so near future. :D Can't wait to get that soldering iron on some gear! :thmbsp:

Don't burn yourself, I manage to burn myself every time I get the soldering iron out.

Also, ware pants when soldering.

What, excatly is this Avionics tech school you speak of? Is that in Iowa, lol?

I remember my initial soldering techniques course. It was self pace.I had been soldering for quite a few years prior.Smoked through that segment of my training in a flash.Later I attended a FTD course for NASA standard soldering Techniques..That was a little more challenging..

He's in basically the same career field I was in for 20 years.
