Did any of the Imperial line of speakers use Roman numerals? ( VI instead of 6 )
I saw a pair of speakers that were "Imperial Mark VI " acoustic suspension speaker, 8ohm. the name Marantz was not on the speakers. They look like a pair out of the early 70's. They were roughly the size of a Dynaco a25 but with much thicker wood and foam grills.
The only name I've found when looking up Imperial speakers is Marantz. None of the Marantz Imperial speakers I've seen uses Roman numerals or "Mark" before the number.
