Infinity help PLEASE!!!!

Hey all of you audiophiles, HELP. I recently purchased a pair of Infinity Kappa 6s on E-bay. I've listened to infinity speakers and once had a set of QAs. Always thought they had such a "crisp" sound, not the case w/ these speakers. Emits are working but hardly audible, 1 polydome midrange is ripped, (likely during shipping), I will replace this. The woofers have been refoamed and seem to work well. I'm not a tech expert but could the crossovers have been damaged or not reinstalled properly during the refoaming procedure? I know these speakers require a lot of power, I am driving them w/ an onkyo tx 8500. I was so looking forward to that infinity sound, any help will be GREATLY appreciated !

it's unlikely the crossovers were even touched during the refoam. the EMITs are equally too quiet?
 
Thanks for your reply, 1 may be a bit louder than the other hard to tell as I am not using a test disc,,just a music CD
