Infinity Model 1001

You're good moebuster, Infinity model 1001. HTWillie, you're good too, that is my truck!
I almost passed on these at the SA at first because they screamed rack system speakers, I pulled the grill and saw the paper tweeter and and non original woofers and started to walk away, but couldn't help but notice the substantial cabinet. I spun the cabinet around and noticed the rear firing tweeter, nice binding posts, and of course the Infinity logo.
The pots are frozen solid, so for now I the wired the tweeters wide open. The woofers aren't original, but they're a competent substitute for now and actually sound pretty good.
The surprise out of all this is the little peerless paper cone tweeters, man they sound nice. The cone seems to be made extremely thin and is attached with a accordion surround that is very flexible. Also the dome on these is minimal, at first I thought they were pushed in, but looking closer these have just a very minor convex curve to the dome.
