This is a pair of Infinity Reference Four speakers. They are 3 way speakers, with 8" woofers, 4" mids, and 1" Emit-R tweeters. They stand 31" tall, and are 10" wide, 11" deep, which results in a lot of sound from minimal floor space.

The woofers and midranges have just been refoamed. Sonically they are excellent, cosmetically they are very good, with just a few minor wear and tear scratches. One grille was cracked and reglued, however the fabric is excellent on both.

Serial numbers are 618245 & 618265.

They sound very nice, come by and have a listen!

I owned the Reference Three with the polydomes, and really liked them. Sold 'em for $100.

If these indeed do have the Emits then I imagine it's a nice step up.

either blew the emit-r's or thought the vifa was an upgrade. btw, i hate people who surreptitiously use pics from other people's sales or personal archives. i occasionally use stock or brocure photos but always make that clear.

Likewise, and that just happened with the RS 2.5's I just bought from a CL listing. The photos showed, among other discrepencies, a really big difference in the grain of the oak in the front of the woofer section of the cabs when in fact the actual speakers are almost identical. All the better for me - but still a misrepresentation.

Something fishy for sure.

The ones in Boxborough are mine. I took the pictures, I'm selling them. Therefore, the ones in Toronto are a rip off, or at least they swiped my pics.

I flagged them, not sure how to send more detailed information to CL regarding why.
