Anyone used these or have any opinion on using these in a biamp configuration. I've got mids/highs covered and just want to rolloff the woofers. This is the rolloff point for the passive 2nd order crossover on a ADS 1290. There is no high/low loudness issue. I just want to remove some brightness from having a full range signal going through the woofers. It's just hard to believe something so simple wouldn't have some tradeoff like sound quality.

I use a pair of 70Hz lowpass... not sure if they're any good as I never tried runnin the woofers fullrange to notice any difference

Thanks for your comments. I'm thinking there might be slight attenuation but I know how to address that if needed. But I wanted to see if anyone knew of anything that would cause them to not recommend them such as a loss of tightness or clarity.

Gimilitano it's just a itty bitty thing. Can't even get away with that huh? Seriously building a low pass filter is plan B. This just seemed like an elegant solution to alleviating clutter if it sounds ok. Thanks much for the link.

Bah, wheres the fun in that? :)

They say it is better than an active XO .. of course, their opinion is little biased.

Let us know how you make out.
