Integrated amp for MA RX6?

Hello everyone! I'm setting up a new stereo system and don't have a lot of options where I am. So far I have decided to go for the Monitor Audio RX-6, but I'm not sure of what the right amp would be. My options are the ONKYO A-9050, A-9030, TX-8050, and maybe, if I can justify it, the A-9070. There are a couple of Marantz models I might be able to get, as well as Yamaha, but those are the only brands available here.

If you think I should try something else please tell me! I will check for availability and am also finding out what I need to do to import.

I don't know those Onkyo amps, so I can't be much help there. I do currently have my MA's hooked up to my Onkyo TX-NR708 and it sounds very nice.
I haven't heard the Marantz, but I did have my speakers hooked up to my Yamaha AS-2000 and that was the best paring I had. That included amps by Rotel, Creek, and Music Hall. From my understanding, my amp is a bit smoother than the lower model Yamaha's. YMMV
I think the Onkyo would match well.
 
Thanks! After alot of reading I am really considering between the Yamaha A-S500 and 1000. According to what I have read the 1000 is almost the same as the 2000 only without the balanced inputs, am I right?
 
I haven't heard both, so I can't comment for sure. Some people say it is, other say the 2000 is a totally different beast.
 
I owned the RX6's and powered them with a Rega Brio R. If I had them back (and I wish I did) I would definitely try them with the NAD D 3020 I currently have in the house:yes:
 
Where are you located, Bruno? Can you buy it off of ebay? Then your choices will be much wider, and you will end up with better sounds.

Something like Teac AI-1000 will outplay the ones you have been looking at.

How much do you want to spend?

New or old?

If you give us more info, perhaps we can be of better service to you...

gongli, I'm in Uruguay and I don't know wether I can buy from e-bay, products have to be dispatched in some certain way to make it through customs, where I have to pay around 60% in taxes and 20% for handling :-(
I need to spend not more than 1500 USD in price + shipping, which I think would translate to a price of around 1200, depending of where it comes from.
I don't really mind if its old as long as it is reliable.

I hope you can help me!

The choices I am currently considering, in an attempt to narrow them down, are the Yamaha A-S1000, Marantz PM8005, and NAD C 375BEE if I can get it for 1200 USD. I think that the Rega might be a bit underpowered as I like to play really loud every once in a while.
Oh, and there is also the Onkyo 9070!

You obviously know what you are doing, because all of your choices are pretty good.
You can't hear them b4 buying? That would be ideal, as you know, since they all have a different presentation, and you got to like it...

How much is the Onkyo a-9050? That one has a digital amp section, which is nice and smooth, and efficient. NAD is also a good choice.

If you can't hear them, then at least hear them on youtube.com
You can sort of get the idea, although not really well...better than nothing.

Another option is this $42 small digital amp - TPA3116 on ebay, although it only has room for one input, it sounds ok - has a subwoofer out for your bookshelf speakers. The shipping and the tax won't be too much...
