interconnect question.

I am considering not using the standard skinny black interconnects (stock) that came with most of my components. On the KAB Technics I have I am using American recorder "Blues "calbles. the next highest in the line are these:

MOGAMI advanced mini quad OFC wire (4 x 30/0.08) terminated with ARTIC Gold RCA Connector. Exceptional definition, detail and imaging. Quad design is effective in canceling electromagetic noises
Capacitance at 1kHz, 20°C 356pF/m(108pF/Ft).

Now I am interested in running upgraded cables between my Amp and Preamp:

I was considering these: (next highest after the Jazz cables)

MOGAMI OFC quad configured wire(4 x 20/0.12)terminated with deluxe gold RCA Connector.
Capacitance at 1kHz, 20°C 220pF/m(66.0pF/Ft)

Can somone give me a good explaination of capacitance, and how much of a sound improvement mught I get running these? whats the best cable without going to the extreemes in price you can actually go,and reaching the point of diminishing returns? is there a place I can buy interconnects that are exactly the same as these for less money? I know Brand names themselves more than what the wire actually is, can affect price. thanks!

Unless you are using long cables (20Ft or more) cable capacitance is usually a non issue. Cable capacitance is significant only when conecting a TT to a preamp, and then only when using a MM cartridge.
