Is KSA916Y a good choice for replacing 2sa915 on KA-7100 Bias circuit (Qe7-10)? Other suggestions? Trying my best here, but I want to double check with anyone who has replaced these before. Funny it's so hard to find with so many recaps of this great amp. One thread said KSA992's were too light, (of course, my stock). Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up, Craig. The SM shows these two with "Bias" written between them...can't assume, can I? OK, Qe 13/14 are listed as 2SA 842, another obsolete, which might use a KSA992? I don't have a real amp problem, I'm learning while I recap this amp. 'Preciate it!

The location of the word Bias makes it confusing, the Center Adjusts are in an odd location also, I guess that's as close as they could get them to the actual pot. I'll have to some research on the 2SA842. Toshiba 2SA970 looks to be a sub and still available. Maybe there's a KSA970?
