Is the Infinity QE Emit Tweeters the same as the others?

I was driving around my neighborhood and saw a single beaten up Infinity QE speaker on the curb. After testing the speaker (all works fine), I took out the tweeter, woofer, and crossover out of the cabinet. I would certainly like to make a cabinet for the speaker, but I want to also buy another tweeter, woofer, and crossover to complete the pair. Are the tweeters on the Infinity Q line the same spec wise or are they different?

AFAIK, all the original Emits are the same diaphram, differing only in their external parts. (shiny rectangle, dark oval with orange writing, light oval, etc etc etc) and possibly magnets.

The QLS used the 'full array' Emit, everything else was the same 'Half array', and the diaphram is interchangable across all of them. It was the Emit-R that is different, and the 'high power emit'.

TL;DR, any of the Emits before the Emit-R will work, but will need modifications, or a rectangle outer shell to fit.

jazzmans is pretty much correct; electrical characteristics are the same. To my knowledge, what's different about the Qe EMIT vs the other chrome plated version is the position of the mounting holes.

Actually both the Quantum 2 and 3 shared the same larger Emits as the QLS. I always wanted a pair of QLS. *sigh* Had to make do with Quantum 3's. Definitely miss those speakers.

I see, does this also includes the tweeter's impedance? I measured mine to find it's at 3.6 ohms (I assume it's originally 4 ohm rather than 8). Apologies for the late response by the way.

There is some minor variance in impedance between different examples of all models, but 3.6 sounds entirely correct (remember that with an ohmmeter you're measuring resistance, not impedance).
