Better late than never I guess; I just picked up a pair of Jamo 703a speakers for 80 euros (yup, also about 100 bucks), which are identical in looks and nearly exactly the same specifications (why the different model numbers, I wonder?). The only difference in specs is the 704a states 8 ohms, the 703a 4-8 ohms. Both are a high 96db sensitivity, which is what I was looking at since I am running a vintage 30 watt tube receiver.
They sound really great for their size in my relatively small living room, nice transparency and imaging, relatively full bass depending on placement. Highly recommended for anyone wanting very good quality on a humble budget....
