Japanese jazz-rock (or soundalike) album suggestions?

Kreshna

...but I have to know.
So, I thought my most favorite jazz-rock album was Headhunters by Herbie Hancock, until I heard Head Rock by Jiro Inagaki. Needless to say The Vamp has dethroned Chameleon as my most favorite song.

Then I remember; in mid/late 1990's, there was a great-sounding WaveTable MIDI software synthesizer called 'Wingroove', made by a Japanese named Hiroki Nakayama. The software came with two demo songs named Cold Wave and TK Eats My Sh*t. I also love the two songs so much, especially the latter. Too bad, being demo songs, they're too short --way too short.

So, any suggestion regarding such kind of music? Which artists/albums should I buy? Many thanks.

Easy - your link sounds so much like Dee-lite.
Ummm... no, sorry, not even close. Besides, Dee-Lite is garage house, while both demo songs (this and this) only have 4/4 dance beat during the intro. I'm actually thinking about The Chick Corea Elektric Band (1986), but I wonder if there are songs with closer resemblance. I also have listened to Jiro Inagaki's Dock of My Mind album, but it's different than Head Rock, so it's not exactly what I'm looking for..
