JBL 240ti's

I have an opportunity to pick up a pair of JBL 240ti's. How would they compare to my JBL 65's and would my Marantz 2270 be a good match?

Where are you at? A pair just sold locally this morning. I posted the CL ad in Dollars and Sense and an AKer grabbed them. No affiliation.

No comparison. The 240 will rock the others.

The 240ti is a more modern speaker and will have less coloration to the sound. Your Marantz won't be the last word in resolution, power or woofer control with these, but it should do fine.

What DJ and Mr. Nut said. And in particular, the woofers and bass on the 240s are to die for.

I'M convinced! I just built a system using the LE14. Smooth with GREAT bass. Get 'em
