Anyone have any information on the JC Penney model 683-1773 8track/ cassette/ tuner such as years produced, value, etc. Bought one a few years ago in mint condition and having trouble finding much information or any of them online for sale to compare to!!! Strange to me lol but any info is very much appreciated

This is the exact same model I found on this site from years ago and very little was posted in regards to it except ppl wanting to see the innards of it lol not much help in my situation

I have the same mod., everything works, but spk. connectors R missing. Trying 2 find out how 2 hard wire spks. Seen unit prices going from $125 to $200 in mint cond.

A lot of this stuff was built in Hong Kong or Singapore to a price point and finding any literature outside of a catalog listing is nearly impossible. They'd buy plug and play parts, figure out how much bling the customer wanted and have it all assembled over there with your name slapped on the outside. Some products are unique, some were made for several different companies.
