Amazing.
It comes with a 3.5mm jack and using this I'm able to stream music via Bluetooth on on my Moto Z3 phone or Samsung tablet to my Marantz. Alexa doesn't have Goggle music play as an option on their menu in Alexa app so one has to stream it via Bluetooth.
It DOES have the following:
Apple
Pandora
Tidal
Vevo
Spotify
Sirus xm
Deezer
Gimmee

No Google music.
I've needed this for YEARS to act as a remote as I'm exercising across the room on an elliptical or rapid sets then wanting to change the music without interrupting my flow.
Alex/Echo plus has extremely good voice pick up even with the music on a higher decibel. Very impressed. It'll change the music to the "next song" via voice prompt easily or using my phone.
With this dual set up I'm given every flexibility I need be it using a phone or leaving as is using a tablet to stream music.
It'll also act as a home "Guard" listening for broken glass when we leave. Nice to have an additional layer of protection to my already robust security system.
Highly recommended.

Good morning.
Guys this is about audio of Echo Plus and it's positive attributes. I get security. :)

We all know that for something to respond to you it's a two way street. Always has been from camera, cell phones, lap tops, street surveillance cameras, atm camers to these smart devices. Your cell phone can still listen to you when it's off. It's already recorded you via voice recognition software if you have ever asked Google anything.
Besides, they already KNOW everything about you from ATM cards, pass ports, gun registration, DNA swabs, occupation, military service and so forth. Especially the latter! This idea of privacy went out the window many, many years ago for me at least.
I have no concern as I'm not high enough up the food chain to merit interest nor what they hear from me or my family to be honest. Just the usual banter and it's pretty boring at that.

If I was in the military again this wouldn't be in my home.

Onto Echo Plus...
As as a stand alone device set in the kitchen the sound is ok. I set it in the corner to add a touch more bass and on that note what is interesting and I lack the vocabulary to explain it but it has the sound of bass yet lacks the "radiance" or feel of it. Even a tiny bit. None of the bass touches my ears. I haven't turned it up all the way to test the ultimate bass feature.
On phone calls there is a definite chamber or echo like sound but the clarity of my wife voice was excellent as I could hear her putting away the groceries. (Since then obviously we've moved Echo+ to the living room)
Anyway so far so good. Time to go workout and see how it performs.

Its bad enough that my phone listens to me sitting there. Cant think of how many times just talking about brown wiz bangs (not on phone) next day ad or something pops up on FB or somewhere or even a junk email about brown wiz bangs. Scary stuff
 
I like my stereo pair of echo 2nd gen. They sound good to me. I like telling Alexa to play a song, and it plays.
If somebody's getting paid to sit around and listen to me, they've got a right boring job.
 
Today while putting around the house several songs came on which I didn't care for. Out of reach to physically touch the tablet as I was upstairs I barely raised my voice and asked
"Alexa, skip song".
Bam, 30+ ft away and upstair it did so while the music was rocking at a good decibel. Went back to my shave. Going to get another Echo dot for the upstairs loft area.
Also my wife decided to try Spotify and we both noticed better clarity over Pandora. I was skeptical at first but she has a good ear for speakers and receivers. Sure enough once I paired both (Alexa+Spotify+Tablet) it was noticably better.
Better than Google play too. Hmmmm. Debating on Tidal.

Ok, dumb question.
I thought the Galaxy tablet was on wifi inside the house and streaming BT to the Echo+?
Maybe you mean cut out the middle tech in this case the tablet and use the Echo+ exclusively? I mean that makes sense as Spotify is supported by Amazon and it's already downloaded.
We just like to use the tablet as a visual cue. I'm all for better music quality!! Any tips appreciated.

I don't use Spotify or an Echo device (my GF has one but barely knows how to use it) but I'd look at the Spotify app on your tablet to see if there is a "cast" or "remote" option. Like you mentioned you may have to log into Spotify on the echo also.
