What a beauty. Makes my heart race and my hands sweat wanting to BIN...too many irons in the fire as of now. :tears:
 
Congrats on the purchase. I purchased a KA 9100 not long ago and am very happy with the unit. Very neutral sounding amp.

You will find that there is no adjustment for the bias on the amp as the output circuit does this for you. There is however a DC offset adjustment. These 470 Ohm pots are very cheap and difficult to adjust for zero volts. I have a Bourns 500 ohm pot on order and plan to replace them asap.

Looks like the meter lamps are green\blue bulbs. My KA 9100 has clear bulbs. Also looks like the power on LED is a pinkish color. My unit is red. I wonder if these are normal for Europe?

Anyway the unit looks real clean.

Too many irons in the fire turns into another iron in the fire. How we succumb to the silver faced demons over and over again is amazing, yet satisfying.

Lamps are a breeze to replace in that baby should you decide to...I don't imagine the blue ones are stock if you care.

Congrats on the buy! Funny, that very same one sold a month or so ago, now that owner sold it. I used to have two 9100's and they are great amps. Very clean and well laid-out. I personally think its unfortunate that someone mounted those handles right to the faceplate when Kenwood made handles specifically for it that bolt to the sides using existing holes (the OEM ones look better IMO, too). Nevertheless, I am sure you will enjoy that beauty. The bronze is love at first sight for me :thmbsp:
 
I have both and they sound great

Congrats on the purchase. Fronts need to be cleaned. I may sell these soon. Don't know yet. :scratch2:
