KENWOOD KR-9050 vs KR-9060 - Whats the difference?

Hi i have had a range of Pioneer units between sx-950 to sx-1250 and have recently bought a Sansui G-9000 which i think is the bee's knees.

I am thinking of getting a KENWOOD KR-9050, but before i do this i am trying to figure out what the difference is between KR-9050 vs KR-9060? Does anyone know?

Are the KR-9050 vs KR-9060 multivolt units (110 to 240 volts) are any of them only 110 volts?

How does the Kenwood compare to Pioneer and Sansui. The Kenwood does look good.

There is a KR-9600 which seems like a seperate unit at 160WPC

If the KR-9060 = KR-9600
and the KR-9050 = KR-9500, whats the difference between the 95XX and 96XX ?

The 9050 is a next-gen unit...after the 9600. Uses standard TO-3 output devices instead of the unobtanium modules used in the 9600, and while it is a fine unit, it's build quality is a bit more simplistic than the 9600.

Have a KR-9050. Finest analog tuner inside a receiver I've ever heard. 200 'real' wpc. Largest and most expensive (objectively verifiable) on the outside and best built (opinion) Kenny receiver on the inside. Wall-to-wall meters. Wish it had different knife switches, those silver rocker contacts get funny. The 9600's rack handles & engraved lettering are way cool, but for SQ the later, more advanced 9050 is hard to beat.

Try the phono section too. You'll be glad you did. :)

Well how about some inside pics side to side, that's the most telling answer...transformers matter. The coffee-can toroid in the 9050 is bigger than the one in my SX-1250.
