Heck of a nice amplifier, and a nice alternative to a pair of Adcom GFA-565 monos for less $$...although I agree that the missing meter makes these less of a deal...

Same set is also listed on the 'Bay right now. Might fetch less over there.

Are you having your L-09's refreshed by EW? Let me know, as I intend to have mine done sometime this summer as well. I am very curious to find out what they can put out for power before clipping.
