Sadly, my cherished Kenwood KD-600 (Trio KD-600 in some countries) has developed a speed control problem. :tears:
The speed runs away at several hundred RPM instead of the correct speed (both 33 and 45 settings). I'm pretty sure it's a not simply an adjustment issue - one of more components must have failed on the control board. Can everyone offer advice on where to get his fixed? I am located in North East England.
For those unfamiliar with this deck, it's a 1979 vintage high end heavyweight (16 KG) quartz locked (when it's working!) direct drive with a "man-made marble" plinth. It's the same as the KD-650 except without the tonearm.
