KLH Model 38 speakers - replacement tweeters

I apologize in advance if this has been covered before, but I can't find any definitive information.

I picked up a pair of KLH model 38's recently, and have been really enjoying them. Yesterday, one of the tweeters stopped working. A quick check with a DMM shows that it's dead. They're 8 ohm speakers.

I've heard that it has the same tweeter as the model 32. Does anyone know if it's compatible with any other model, or if there are any new tweeters that I could just drop in?

I've attached pictures of the bad tweeter. The outside diameter measures 3", and the inside measures 2 1/4"

I have sold a pair a Model 38 KLH's for 20$ just the other day. However, my Tweeters were replaced by their previous owner. The previous owner substituted Realistic Brand Tweeters, and arranged the connections in the back. When I tested these before selling them, I noticed a subtle continuous high-pitched hiss, or similar noise while recordings played back. I felt uneasy about keeping these and the prospective buyer was already in the mindset of a full overhaul so....

If I feel inspired before they arrive to pick up, I could photograph the jobs. They fit to the exact holes and dimension of the originals in your pics.

Hey Rennie, sorry for the late reply. No, I gave up after a while and ended up moving on to another pair of speakers. I think (?) I may have donated them (it's been so long I can't remember!).
