A few years I trashed a pair of Optimus Ones using the cheap route of rubber cement. When I got a pair of sixes last year I bought the Vintage AR dope and applied 2 coats as directed. Very happy with the result.

You will not be sorry for using the RoyC sealer. I've done two pairs of KLH 23's and a pair of KLH 17's, and I was completely satisfied with the result. I wouldn't use anything else.

I did a comparison when I got my Sixes. I recapped both of them. I redoped one and left the other alone. I listened to them with the grills on for months until I forgot which was which. I decided the right one sounded better. It was the redoped one. I got the doping compound from Vintage-AR.
