KLH Twenty Four capacitor

I just came into a pair of Twenty Fours in good original condition and for which I shouldn't have paid $25, but I did just because, and I will totally restore them.

They have an inductor and a single capacitor labeled 2 x 2 mfd, with a single in and double out, which is shorted. I'm assuming this makes a 4 uf capacitor which I should be able to replace with single 4 uf. Am I right?

I'll be refinishing the cabinets while I wait for some Daytons but want to be sure to order the right ones.

If the red wires go to different places, you need 2 x 2uf caps.
They're shorted into one wire nut and then sent to the positive side of an adorable little tweeter.

And it looks like a cloth surround on the tweeter. I wonder if I should dope that when I do the woofer. Maybe a very thin coat?

The only non-woofer recommended for coating was the "twelve point five".
OTOH, hard to imagine why it would be a problem to add a little shmear.
Looks like it might have already had some.
