Ok, I picked up this unit pretty cheap but if I hook it up to my system it hums like there was no tomorrow. It was part of a wireless system and the only part I have is the sub. All the settings are accessed using a remote control, which I do not have. So, I know the driver is good. I know the power supply is good. The question is can I pick up a sub amp for it cheap enough to make it worth my while? I know I probably will not have any luck selling it, but I could give it to my mom. Or should I just strip it for parts and sell them? I already picked up another sub for my main system, an Onkyo SKW-750 ($23, 50% off day at the thrift store) so I don't really need it...
