Klipsch Heresy & Wharfedale W30?

Went to a rummage sale preview tonight ... and came home with some more speakers (which I need like a ... ) ... a matched pair (serial #s 172y084 and 085) of unfinished Klipsch Heresy HBRs (w/metal handles on the back .. which I am guessing aren't OE)... and a pair of Wharfedale W30s ...

Anyone know what year the Heresy's are? ...

Don't know anything about the Wharfedales ... they are small bookshelf speakers ... 19"W x 10"H x 9"D ... anyone else have a pair? ...

I had pair of Wharfedale W40D's in high school. 3-way bigger than 30's. They were awesome.

Never heard W30's but have W60's (two pair) and W90's and those are both excellent on softer music. The 60's will rock pretty good but the 90's prefer not to.

Heresy's are from 1983. Metal handles probably indicate professional series, most certainly could be OEM.

Don’t know anything about the Wharfedales but the Klipsch are keepers in my book… Rebuild the crossovers and hook them up to some tube gear or some Mcintosh SS gear…. Yummy!
