L100 Straight Line Drivers Model

I was just gifted a pair of two early production L100 speakers serial number 19066 and 19069.
I removed all drivers and tested resistance. Woofers are Black. All drivers are original, and are mounted on a Vertical axis.

Tweeters: 3.6 & 3.2Ohms

Mids 5.5 & 6 Ohms

Woofers: One show no resistance between terminals, but has no visible signs of damage and moves freely on its surround, which is completely intact. I would like to have this repaired.

The other reads 5.2Ohms. Behaved weirdly during a Sine sweep test, really shaking and rattling.

Crossovers: At least one is bad. But i am interested in replacing both with a more modern CX, as it seems to bring the speaker to life (from everything ive read).

Thoughts on how to proceed?

Thanks!

Im not so sure about that. Couldnt they be repaired? Esp the one with no connection between the posts.

Does someone had instructions for how to dissemble the woofers? one of the screw on the back has a wax plug over it.

Why are you so intent on telling me they aren't valuable? Thats irrelevant. im looking for real technical help here.
So far you've supplied none.

I have replaced the surrounds on speakers many times. No Pro needed.

Im hoping some people with real world experience fixing with solid advice these will chime in.

One issue I think about as a 4310 and later model admirer is the 123a recones vary quite a bit in description, coatings, and probably response. I wish someone on the Lansing Forum would point to the best substitute version since this is the foundation of this model. As much as I like the real expense and higher level professional monitors the smaller monitors are where the JBL reputation developed with the regular consumers.
