There has been much talk about replacing the lamps in vintage units with LED bulbs. Ive looked at a number of these threads but I haven't found a link to anyone who sells the bulbs (ebay also turned up nothing). I'm looking to relamp a marantz 2230...any links to 250ma 8v fuse bulb LED equivalents? Thanks

Where do you live? Any reasonably-sized city should have an electronics supply store nearby. You'll have to throw a resistor in line with the LED to drop the voltage down to ~ 3 - 3.3 volts, though. Here's a link to an LED conversion calculator.
 
whsh93a is the AK member who did the fuse lamps LEDs as well as others. He can help you here.
