LED Replacement

Hi all,
I trying to replace the LED in my tube integrated amp and run
into a little problem, I know that LED's are directional and this original
LED came with one lead which had a resistor on it and the other lead
has a little rectifier on it, so I do I hook it up? I'm a little loss with this one

Thanks

A little more information will be needed to formulate a good reply. What color and purpose of the LED? What supply does it have across the rectifier, LED, resistor group, i.e. how many volts, AC or DC. It is probably AC, hence the rectifier. A schematic (even partial) will be helpful.

So far the two leads get hooked up to one 12AX7 tubes and it just a light
to show the units on, I'll check for a schematic.

I replaced the LED with just the resistor and it works, and tried to read what type
of rectifier it is but the printing is worn off so I good guess from here is well
you know.

probably not anything special, any 1N400x or approximate equivalent would get the job done. Its not dealing with a lot of current or voltage.
