hello AKers,
the left channel of my system is playing at very low volume and the sound that's coming from the left speaker is almost all treble. for reference, i'm running a sansui sr-222 mkii tt, an empire 2000z cart, a pioneer sx-850, and polk rt-400 speakers. i've check the wires and connections-- all good. i've wired the speakers into both the A and B ports, and the problem is the same, so that leads me to think the is the receiver is the culprit. however, playing through headphones has no problem whatsoever and i've wired the left speakers backward (left speaker into right port and right speaker into left) and the problem remains with the same speaker. so i'm fairly certain the problem is with the speaker.
is there anything i'm overlooking? i've taken the grille off the speaker and there's no obvious physical damage to the woofer but i'd appreciate any help or insight guys!
thanks!
