Lexicon CP-3 for 2 channel use as pre-amplifier?

Hay folks, just picked up a Lexicon CP-3 for cheap and thought I would ask for some feedback concerning use as a 2 channel pre-amp? :scratch2::music: Looks like it has a center channel subwoofer output also. :scratch2:

You can certainly use it as a preamp, although it is best served being placed either between you existing amp/preamp, or better still, in your tape monitor/external processor loop.

I own a CP-1+, and I personally prefer it in the external processor loop. Have you experimented with it's options yet?

Thanks for the info jhaan92, it is still on its way in shipping. Do use one at work in a full pro rack system as the single main volume control unit. We have two inputs in use ,one for CD player and the second for the Ipod to listen to Pandora.
