hahaha.. this is part of why i love cats.. cats sees your freshly washed laundry and thinks .."I should really get some cat hair on that."

of course I'm not remotely mad at the cat... obviously.. i think it was hilarious.. plus he looks hella cute sleeping on the shirt so oh well.

Cute. I can't even get the clothes out of the laundry basket before one of the fuzzy critters here have decided to fur it up.
 
Cat people know this

Our two hairballs will follow the clothes basket from the dryer to the bed or couch where we fold them and jump into the basket like they own it! Especially this time of the year when they love the warmth of freshly dried clothes. I can't go to work without some cat hair on my T-shirts. My two are gray (long hair) and black and white (short hair), so their hair shows up well on any color shirt I wear, but I wouldn't trade them for anything!!:D
 
My Birman will get into any open clothes drawer and sleep there or on top of any of my clothes, especially if they are:

a) expensive and/or new with tags
b) pure wool (and she tests the quality with her claws)
c) just ironed
d) folded neatly in a pile
e) my favourite
f) black or dark grey
g) any or all of the above

Simple animals aren't they?

She can hear to 70kHz too...
 
Fitz looks quite content on your freshly washed shirt. I'm the same way I won't disturb my cat either when she turns my clean clothes into her bed.
 
my cat Cardigan .. long haired black cat....loved to jump into a laundry basket full of freshly washed white towels.. . I miss him he was a good cat.... he taught himself to use the toilet.. he just started jumping up and doing his business, he just started doing it on his own.. neither my wife or I attempted to train him to do so.. he just did.
 
Slightly off topic but how do you guys keep cats off your gear? I have an new Onkyo HT receiver that acts as a cat warmer and I'm sure is getting filled with fur.

I don't really sweat it too much.. Cardigan use to sleep on my computer tower all the time... Fitz it the best behaved cat in the universe (except for biting me occasionally) he only uses his scratching post and like the bed and the couch in that order as far as places to sleep / sit go... but meh.. i don't care... i'd dust out the receiver from time to time.. but cats > audio stuff.
 
That's cats for you. Gotta love 'em! My 2 immediately loved my new bedspread! They just have to claim everything. :yes:
 
Not only does Izzy like clean laundry, but on a cold winter day, under the bed covers is great too.

nice.. Izzy is a nice looking cat.. I love Orange/White Tabbies we had a number of these Orange & white tabbies when i was a kid and now of course Fitz... they have all been just fantastic cats with excellent personalities and behavior... Fitz however does like to nip at people sometimes... but i think he is a little PTSD from his old house and the toddler that was constantly messing with him?
