looking for Amplifier suggestions, to pair with Bryston Mini-T speakers

Hi All,
I just acquired a pair of Bryston Mini-T speakers, and am looking for a less-than $2000 amplifier, new or used, to pair with it.

The amplifier i was using for my smaller bookshelf speakers is somewhat up to the task, but has a fuzzy/weak channel, and i'd rather replace it than repair it at this point.

The preamp i plan on using is a used Parasound PLD 1100.

I look forward to any and all amplifier suggestions!

(Bryston Mini-T on the left, and my old Panasonic PMX-70 speaker on the right)

Have you looked into the Parasound amps? Since you already have a Parasound pre it might work out good synergy wise.

I actually don't have the Parasound pre as yet...but just assumed that i'll most likely get one. But you're right, i should look at a Parasound amp. Any particular one that you can recommend?

A23 may be a good start not sure if you could get into the A21 for under $2k. Have you thought about an integrated amp ?

I will be looking into some Bryston power amps, thank you. Any particular models i should be looking for? Are the first generation, for example 4B still a good buy compared to 4BSST2?

Ok i'll look into the A21 and A23. I'm currently using a Yamaha A1000 integrated and wanted to with separates...but i haven't completely ruled out integrateds, as i like having everything (pre and power...and sometimes DAC) all in one package.

I see you are in T.O Bryston is close by and that is great.I would find an amp that is as new as possible, has enough power and at the high end of your budget. Cheers

I run an integrated although it’s called an integrated it leans more to the separates side but it is the best sounding amp (integrated) I have used with my current system. But all in all it’s all about synergy, no matter what manufacturer you use.

I like the Parasound recommendation so add my x2 to that one.
Either the A21+ -or- the 2250v2 would be a good choice for the Mini-T.

And of course the Bryston power amps are more than capable as well.

Me,I'd probably stick with seperates as most all the integrateds I like are $5k and up (ATC / Luxman / et-al) these days.

The Mini T are a pretty stiff load as speakers go,but feed 'em what they need and they should really sound good.

FWIW

Bryston 4BSST should go for around $2K +/-. Newer would be nice, but I'd stick with the SST series. 3B amps won't give you as much headroom and might suffer a little.
