Hello everyone, I'm looking to do a re-cap of my P-306 but need a service manual or at the very least, a schematic. If anyone out there has one they could share, I'd greatly appreciate it. Hifi engine only has the operators manual. Thank you in advance.

The P-306RS (as well as the 306R) uses a "Super Servo" system and is meant to be used with the M-506RS (or R) amp connected using the special Super Servo cables that have two RCA pins on each channel on the preamp side. Together the amp/pre amp work like modern "Balanced" inputs. My 506RS/306RS combo is dead silent - the background is totally black. The RS also has a "CD" input and switch labeled CD instead of the "Aux" used on the 306/306R. The RS versions also use the fake Rosewood side panels that the 306/506 and 306R/506R don't use.

When I have my M-508 paired with the P-306RS it does not have the same deep black background. My 306RS/506RS combo is a silent as my Parasound A21+ / P6 combo.

I have never been able to find a service manual for any of the P306 series.

Pics of the difference between the P-306R and p-306RS. the RS has an additional input for a CD on the back panel, and the Input selector switch is labeled CD instead of Aux. There is an additional push button on the front to select between Tuner or Aux, so the circuits will be slightly different, but the 306R service manual should get you close...

Anyone have the Service manual for the 506RS with the PCB layout with traces. All the ones on hifiEngine and elsewhere do not have the PCB trace drawings.
