Low end hifi build problem

Hi all. I am new (obviously)
Question. If that's OK?
I am running out of rca input and outputs.
Sansui r50
Sansui sc 2110
Sansui d190
Sony tc 399
Rotel rp 1500
So far.
Just bought a sansui rg 7
Now should I just buy those rca doubles to add the eq in to one of my tape inputs/outputs?
Or is there a box unit that I need?
Thanks in advance
Steve

You should be able to use the tape monitor ins/outs.

You could also buy an RCA A/V switch to expand your inputs.. Something like this.

Welcome to AK!
You have a lot of options and others will chime in. Perhaps narrow it down to main system components favored depending upon tasks you intend to perform and play back.. lot of gear.

I use a Russound TMS-1 switch box plugged into one of the two tape monitor circuits on my preamp. The TMS-1 allows for the connection of three tape decks and/or equalizer/processors and dubbing between them. There is also a TMS-2 that accommodates up to five devices and a TMS-10 that accommodates ten..

Hi. Thanks for fast response.
Well I figured I need the eq plugged in all the time.
And some sort of doubles. Switch route.
Narrow it down. . I honestly use both the tapes pretty much everyday. But if I use a switch box. Won't that disable the eq? when I use one of the tapes. (whichever one I choose to plug the eq into)

Oh this could be the thing.. Better do a ebay saved search.. Thanks

I forgot to add. I have rca doubles (if that's what you call them. Already going from both reel to reel and cassette tape to computers. As well as back into the amp rec side on both. (rca to 3.5mm) on top of that.
Probably not making this easy for myself I know. Haha.
But the tracks need to end up on the hard drive most days.

If the equalizer has a Tape Monitor connect the equalizer to the tape monitor of your preamp/amp. Connect the TMS-1 to the tape monitor of the equalizer. Connect the tape decks to the TMS-1. This will allow playing any deck and dubbing between them. The same applies to the TMS-2 and TMS-10.

Awesome thanks. Now to find one... Cheers people very helpful

Call me daft. (probably.) 2 are labeled amp then there are only 2 for each input. So I would have to change selector for playback and rec? Like. Input 1 is play input 2 is rec?

Oh and thanks. Very helpful

I actually use 2 of them, one for the inputs and one for the outputs - the boxes are bi-directional so it is very flexible - I use them to share components between 2 system with an EQ in the mix, can get a little confusing as to what goes to what so is best to label each port

Yeah I do feel like I am going down a rabbit hole..
But needs to be done one way or another.

Thanks
Steve.

I’ve been seeing those receivers more often on eBay. How does it perform? Thinking of getting one

For the money. Under 200 bucks.
Plus another factor was 2 rear tape phono and aux. 4 speaker out. Running with 2 technics and 2 marantz speakers. I am blown away on the sound. I think looks clean as well. Plus I can't afford the 2k sansui stuff. So nice I can get in at bottom
