Magnificent Magnavox Stereo Console Repair; Need schematic for Mag amp 175 GH

Hello Everyone,

I am restoring a "Magnificent Magnavox" Stereo Console. I can't seem to find a schematic, parts list, amp photo identifying parts, etc. The only identifying marks for the console are in the attached photos. I would love to know the model number, the year, can't seem to find a thing.

Most importantly, I need a schematic. It has a Magnavox 175 GH amp, but I cannot find a high res schematic or pdf for the 175 GH. I tried SAMS, they do not have a pdf for the Mag 175-GH.

This site has always come through, no doubt have the best membership out there. I would be most grateful for any assistance.

I have also included photos of the pre amp/tuner, which I also need to recap, thus requiring a schematic.

Here's the Sams for 175, in pdf which can be enlarged to show detail. Sams didn't put out separate schematics for each variation. I've not heard of a "GH" version before but the differences, if any, should be minor.

I have a 185, it is very similar. I love the sound.

I can certainly understand your want or need for a schematic but it really isn't necessary for replacing parts. Simple amp with just a few capacitors (can capacitor and 4 coupling capacitors) which have their values and voltages printed on them, and resistors can be identified using a resistor color code chart available for free everywhere on the web.

I own several schematics for the 175 series power amplifier and the differences between the 67, FF, GG, HH, etc. Seems to be variations in the power supply and rectifier tube(s) used.

I own a 176-67 power amp and it uses the same filters and resistors as the other suffix schematics. There are also minor differences such as jacks and sockets used with different tuners/preamplifiers and different console styles.
