ok ive gone full solid state! i love my tube stuff but its summer now so im going solid state cause it runs cooler. i have no a-c in my house and living in south florida. its too hot to run 10 or 15 tube type receivers at once!

yes i switch back to tube gear during winter!!

my winter system uses about 15 different tube type stereo receivers. lol

I was thinking the same thing.

You live in south Fla with no ac!!?? HOW?? And how do you keep your gear in good shape with all that humidity?

I tried spending the summer in St. Louis in a 3rd-floor walkup apartment with no A/C, just to see how things were when my grandmother grew up in the 20s and 30s. I made it to July 1 before a window unit went in - and StL is a far cry from south Florida.
