major thrift store score

Somebody upstairs likes me. I was at the GW today. I couldn't believe it - I had to look twice and then again. I got a set of Klipsch Heresy's, natural unfinished wood, absolutely beautiful condition. Next to them was a KEF subwoofer model OSW 2150. With tax out the door for all of it, just under $60.:yes::yes::yes:

I am still waiting for the officer to come to my door.

Actually, I have thought about that a lot and the demographics of thrift shops.
I live in a semi - affordable pocket of Littleton. Average price of a home im my neighborhood is about $325k. Colorado median home prices are about $250k. My entire neighborhood is surrounded by RITZ homes, ranging from 600k to about 2.5 mil. So in a way I am next to aspen.
I am a stay home dad and go to about 5 thrift stores. I usually hit from 2-3 everyday(5-6 days a week). This one store that I found these speakers at has by the far the best stuff - I am sure it is because of the location..

You are on quite a roll.With the right stores and all the time on your hands the supply of vintage could be endless.I am lucky to have a store nearby that has been very good to me.So much so that now I kind of go just to look for certain items but would not pass on another pair of Heresys.I got a pair from this same store about five years ago for $24.99.
