My eight year old son thoroughly fascinated with our $3 garage sale tape deck. Listening to music he's heard on other formats, yet wanting to use the deck... Handle the tapes, push the buttons, flip the cassettes over :)

Today he tapped the top of the deck and asked if 'they' made one smaller, pointing to his hip :)

Guess I'm off to find a Walkman :)

my 6 year old loves it too

My 6 year old. Well, even when he was 5. Loved the different music formats. He loves the 8 track player. I asked him again tonight to make sure. yes he loves the 8 track player. For the music it plays. Though I have not idea what 8 track he likes. He likes a whole bunch of rock n roll songs. Then you have the he likes trains and he like Jethro Tull Locomotive breath. Then again he also like blue man group.

TTFN,

Josh

Heck, I am 19 and I love tapes just because of all the buttons and interaction. :D

Something about it reminds me when I was first allowed to use my dad's system - Must have been around my son's age. Connoisseur tt, Kenwood amps, and Infinity Monitor JRs - I spun Fleetwood Mac and The Beatles for hours, and loved it!

Good memories :thmbsp:
