Marantz 2110 Scope

"Marantz 2110 for parts or repair. Tested functions and outputs and it works great. Missing am antenna. It has a couple bulbs out. Faceplate is excellent. Extremely nice physically. Scope is missing but did work fine fine before the last buyer stole the scope out and returned it. Thanks ebay."

I saw that today, I promise all of you on AK, I did not remove, and never have, any parts from any unit I purchased and then tried to return it. It upsets me to see this kind of stuff, I am one of those people that hates to see units destroyed for parts, but I must confess, I have purchased many parts from the people that do. I hope no one believes this seller and avoids him like the plague. I have never left negative feedback for any seller, even the ones that try to cheat the system and I most likely will not for this guy either, the worst I have done is neutral. Personally, I am just glad to be done with it and don't really want to continue the feud. Thanks Rich

I didn't like the smell of the seller's listing when he had the tuner and the scope at the same time and did not have pictures of the inside of the unit.

Richs, question is, did he leave you derogatory feedback comments? You should report this new listing to Ebay as a slander as your ID might be figured out on the previous listing's bidding info.

Dicks like this know exactly what they are doing and need to be outed.

He has not left me feedback, I believe that eBay rules no longer lat a seller leave negative feedback when the item is paid in a timely manner. Buyers were afraid to leave honest neg. feedback because they feared neg. feedback in return. I did not leave any feedback because of his current listing, if I leave feedback, it will reference the original purchase of the 2110 which the seller claims I cheated him. By not leaving feedback, nothing ties me to this sale. As much as I would like to give neg feedback on this one, I would rather my eBay reputation not be affected (I have been on eBay for 17 years as both a buyer and seller with 100%+ feedback) Thanks for the support and encouragement .... Thanks Barney, Once I leave feedback, the item will appear in his feedback rating and it will give the item title and my user name for all his shoppers to see. Then it becomes he said / he said and just by the way he has conducted himself so far, he is willing to go to far greater lengths that I am (lying and calling names) just be aware that sleepneat69 may not be someone you want to deal with. Tough call, but most all buyers and sellers are smart enough to read between the lines. Ferret out the truth in the feed backs. Can tell by the words used and who is the untruthful one.

This fellow is glad to have you stay silent and have his words the only ones to read.


Plus once you handle is out my guess you will be contacted by other unfortunate members of the club.

Bob, Thanks for the heads up. Right now I am trying to return the item to the seller. I feel listing with 'scope not working' is very different than 'scope not there'. Kinda like selling a car as not running, when you forget to mention it has no engine. The seller is telling me that I have buyers remorse and don't have the ability to repair the tuner, when in fact, the scope is the most valuable part in the tuner and without it, it is just a plain vanilla tuner. The seller just happened to sell a scope separate at the same time he sold me the tuner sans scope (which I called him on and he called me a psycho). He has called me a cheat and a bully because I told him I would leave negative feedback unless he resolved this, so I won't know for a week or so if I'm keeping it or not (ebay will have to make the determination). Just for grins, PM me with scope costs and if you are willing to part with the 2130. I have a 2110, 150 and 120, but missing the 2130 and 120B. Thanks Rich

FYI,
eBay frowns upon negative feedback threats. If you used eBay's messgeing to make the threat to the seller that could work against you because it's on record.
