Marantz 2270 driver transistors

Hi all:
I'm looking for suitable replacements for the driver transistors on my receiver. Seen suggestions around NTE38 and NTE175 as a suitable pair but was wondering if there was anything else with ST Micro or other mfr's as I can't find NTE's here around my area. Thanks!

Good! You should consider not finding NTE transistors a blessing. What number is the transistor that you are trying to match. Mouser/ digikee , parts express and others that advertise on AK will sell you REAL Transistors. jmo

Interesting! I'm trying to replace the what looks to be originals Hitachi 2SC680 on H758 and 2SA566 on H759. Thanks

I have a 2270 that I had to replace the drivers. See the thread below. Recommended by the more experienced on AK that know their stuff.
