I just purchased a nice Marantz 27 in beautiful condition..i have no output on the right channel. I hooked up a dummy load and feed a 1khz signal into the aux input...beautiful signal on oscilloscope on left channel...no output on right channel. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Could be many things. My model 27 had some blown transistors on the main amp board right channel. Your situation will require opening up the hood.

sorry about the delay, been out of country....ready to get into this beautiful receiver

Are you getting signal out of the preamp section? Decoupling the preamp stage from the amplifier stage will help you discover where the problem is. Push a signal into the amp stage and see if both channels work. If so, the problem is most likely in the preamp stage. Some models have pre/main jacks that make this easy. The 1030 I had didn't. I just unsoldered the signal wires from the amp board. Fed a signal into the amp stage and found the problem was with it.

sorry if I confused everyone...thanks for your response Lavane, is this for the Marantz 2015, thats what Im working on now

It's really a good idea to fix one unit at a time. Both for yourself, and for the sanity of those enlisted to help.
Actually I am, Im working on the Marantz 2015. The model 27 is not being worked on at this time, its on the shelf for later. I was talking about the 27. and mistakenly started a new thread with the 2015 on the 27 thread. I'm sorry guys

Good idea. Start it in the Marantz section. That is where you will get the most eyeballs.

It works for both. Earlier on before I accumulated more test equipment, I would separate amp from preamp to see what section was causing the problem. It was just easier for me at the time. But if you have a signal gen., and a scope, etc, you don't really need to do this. Usually if a channel was out it turned out to be the amp section. Blown outputs, maybe even drivers and ir other bits.
You can pull the output transistors in the one bad channel and test them.
