...the box set is worth seeking out, and now happens to be the time to seek out the seasonal Dogfish Head version as well.

The box set liner notes says the initial album was done during a three day session August 19-21 (1969). They then went on the road and then returned to the studio in November, eventually putting down 5 other recording sessions (each a day) spanning through February 1970. The box set captures them all from August to February.
These songs fed subsequent releases, but there’s a fair bit of unreleased material here.
