MCD 7007 question panloc brackets?

So I now have an MCD 7007. I bought a cabinet (L12 slant wooden legs to match my other cabs) and the 7007 seems to not want to slide in. Are the panloc brackets different for the 7007? this cab came with brackets mounted and so far I have just bought them off ebay and slid my C33 into one without a problem I had both my MR77 and now my MR80 in the same cab with same brackets, so it seems I need different ones?

The CD players came with a different panloc system. Should have been with the CD player not cabinet.
 
The cabinets did not come with the metal panloc rails, they came with the equipment so should really accompany the equipment when resold.

I believe the C34 was the last unit to use the old push in style of lock...the MC7270 for example had a CD like twist lock

hey Chris, clean out your PM mailbox I tried to send you one and it bounced. any body got any panloc bracets for a 7007 they dont need?
 
The L12 is the older case that fits a lot of units. Your case could be from the sixties. It is possible the panlock was a little different. In the back of my mind I remember reading about someone who had to make a few mounting adjustments to get an older L12 case panlocs to work with the newer panlocs on their gear. You can pull them off and see if they actually mate up.

The MCD7007 was made from the late eighties into the nineties. I suspect the L52 case that replaced the L12 was the case sold for the MCD7007. Maybe you can just remove the panlocks and slide the unit in. Some of the older Amps, preamps, and tuner/preamps that use the L12 case did not even have panlocks.

The L12. L52, and the L52A (a current offering I believe) have the same dimensions and fit the same gear.

Others here now a lot more than I do about the cases. My only experience is some recent research to fins a case for an MX110 X series. Panlocs did not appear on the MX110 until the Z series.
 
If the unit's "button" has a slot uses CD player style twist lock..previous were push to lock/unlock..different depths for various products always applied.

The panloc slides should fit all mid height cases L12/22/52 or L14/24/54 for amp height cases.
