Actually I have not been really grumpy in many years. People just perceive me to be.

The whole point of this post was to get folks to interact more outside of their brand specific forums. There are tons of great people all over Audiokarma and if you stay holed up in one little corner how would you know.

Grumpy

Might I suggest allowing "refer to" posts so our friends in this group could read a thread we post elsewhere? If I don't know that Ivan posted something in the wheels forum, how will I know if he ever got his toys out of the garage? Okay, I'll behave.

There's an amazing functionality of the vBulletin software that allows you to see every thread that has a new post in every time you click it- see pic below and the key to this magic circled in red. There is no need to fill this or any other forum up with links back and forth to posts/threads in other forums.

Maybe some of us like to sit in our little cubbie-holes.

Viva la revolucion!

No, wait, that didn't really come out that well. I prefer the forum rename to include everything we chit-chat about on here... that would solve our problems :)

Now we're talking! What a nice little shortcut, thanks for pointing that out.

If you never leave your hole... you'll never experience how big, varied and wonderful the world is...

DSP in McIntosh Amps?

Ron....does any of The McIntosh Amps have Digital Signal Processing in them for room error correction? Also, is it necessary that the speakers be matched specifically to the Amps for the processing to work?

I didn't know I had to knit to be in this forum :scratch2: maybe I don't know what a Mcintosh is...

i think it is an apple that is good for baking:scratch2:... anyone have any good recipes? and cross stitching is much more intricate.... anyone can knit!

Good point, grumpy. I'm all over the threads across most of the audio forums here and there's a lot to be shared. There is, however, just the time factor required to be a good AK citizen in many of these.....

Cheers,

David
